Introduction
I have been saying for years, “I am going to write a book.” I want you to understand; I am not a writer. I love to do many things, and I am a very creative person, but in life, I have never been one to sit and write anything. I don’t keep journals or diaries. I struggle to write a post on social media. I don’t know or care about the three different forms of there, their, and they’re. Yet, God birthed within me the desire to write a book.
Isn’t it just like Him to give you a desire to do something in which you are not gifted at all?
So, after 10 years of saying, “One day, I will write a book,” it’s happening. And now, as I actually type these words, I am realizing and witnessing the power of the words I have spoken over myself. It was not an overnight transformation. It was a gradual realization of God’s manifested power that resides on the inside of me. I know the power of His Word. I have seen Him move in my life. They say, “The proof is in the pudding,” which essentially means that you can only judge something because you have experienced it. I have experienced God’s power in my life. His Word has given me victory, set me free, and helped me overcome. I have also seen Him do wonderful things in many other people’s lives as well, those who have grabbed ahold of His Word and have had their lives completely transformed by it.
We live in a very fast-paced world right now. We have so much information readily available to us each moment of our days. We could wake up at 3:00 am, pop onto our phone, and surf the internet for anything. Things are very fast, and information is accessible anytime. I believe we also live in a time, because of this fast-moving lifestyle, where stress levels are very high.
Is it possible to live a life with peace and joy?
Is it possible to overcome fear in our life?
Does God’s Word really work?
Does God have a plan for my life?
My hope is to share with you some simple truths that can transform your Christian life. My desire is that you will experience transformation in your life as you apply the Word of God to every situation, speaking the way Jesus would speak in your life.
Things happen. Good things and bad things. You can have a great situation happen one day, and the very next day have something very tragic happen to you. In both circumstances, we always have Jesus with us, our faithful Companion.
With Jesus, we can enjoy the greatest victories and overcome the worst circumstances.
